Information we use

We use your account email, CV, candidate profile, job preferences and activity to provide job matching and tailored-CV services.

Direct employer applications

For an approved direct-employer vacancy, you can choose to apply through Find Me A Job Australia. Before sending, we show the exact contact details and message that will be shared with that employer and ask for your consent. Your stored CV, identity documents and private application-tracker notes are not shared as part of this Stage 1 application flow.

Employer matching and paid access

Employers can use free preview tools to review match quality, shortlist candidates and manage job ads. Candidate identity, phone, email, full CV viewing, CV download and CV email actions stay restricted until employer payment access is active and the action is allowed by the platform workflow.

Employers must use unlocked candidate information only for genuine recruitment related to their vacancy. Candidate information must not be resold, added to unrelated marketing lists or used for non-recruitment purposes.

CV processing

Uploaded CVs are stored privately in Supabase. Relevant CV and vacancy text is sent securely to OpenAI for analysis or tailoring. Requests are configured not to store model responses for training or later retrieval by the API.

AI matching and CV tailoring

Automated matching and CV tailoring can make mistakes. Candidates and employers should review outputs before relying on them. Find Me A Job Australia does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employee performance or hiring outcomes.

Payments

PayPal processes live checkout and payment information for employer monthly access and candidate CV purchases. Find Me A Job Australia records order status, provider references, access status and support information, but does not store full card, bank or PayPal login details. Some retired test or legacy records may still reference earlier sandbox payment testing while those records are kept for troubleshooting.

Job alerts

We send job alerts only when you choose an alert schedule. Every alert includes an unsubscribe link, and alerts can be disabled from the candidate dashboard.

Police-check requests

Employers may request a police check only for a direct application that has progressed to shortlisted, interview or offer. We record the request purpose and your response. No check begins without your consent. Identity documents and formal check consent will be handled by the ACIC-accredited provider, not uploaded to this website. Provider continuation links and result references are withheld from browser access and will be released only through an authorised process.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregated website traffic and improve the service. Analytics receives the page path and standard device and browser information. We do not send sign-in links, URL query details, CV contents or account information to Google Analytics, and advertising personalisation is disabled.

Access and deletion
